Salt director Philip Noyce wants to make a sequel of the film and what's more, he wants to cast Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise in the film.
Incidentally, the character of Evelyn Salt was originally made with Tom Cruise in mind but he reportedly refused it saying it was too similar to his role in Mission Impossible.
Salt may not have done too well at the box office but Noyce hopes to have a sequel within a couple of years. He had earlier told Eonline.com that Angelina was so great in the film that the audience would feel like its just the beginning.
Now, that may not have happened but an enthusiastic Noyce said "I think we should have (Cruise's Mission: Impossible character) Ethan Hunt and (Affleck's The Sum of All Fears character) Jack Ryan chasing down Salt."
Well, lets see if Noyce's salty dream comes true!
