Brad Pitt ‘has been texting’ ex Jennifer Aniston amid Angelina Jolie divorce

Brad Pitt and ex Jennifer Aniston have reportedly been texting amid Pitt’s divorce from wife Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt has been texting with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston amid tangled divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie, according to a new report.

A source close to Aniston told US Weekly that Pitt, 53, tracked her number down through a web of contacts to wish her on her birthday (February 11). “They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday,” said the source.

Pitt “has confided in Jen,” the source continued. “Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past.”

Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage. She is currently married to Justin Theroux, who is reportedly “OK with them being friends.”

A source close to Pitt confirmed the news to Page Six, “They have been texting and have been in touch. There has just been some friendly back and forth, nothing more than that.”

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September. The two are currently embroiled in a custody battle for their children Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
