Chris Hemsworth lost his wallet and a teenager’s effort to return it to him got him $10,000 and an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ TV show!

Talking about the incident, Hemsworth said, “I went to pick up my wife and daughter from the airport and we were a little early so we were killing some time and had something to eat. And it was a pretty rough area and we sat down and I left my wallet on the table and thought, ‘I’m never going to get it back.’”

However, the 32-year-old Marvel star received a letter which informed about the wallet and also said, “Mum saw you, you were on Ellen this week and wondered if we could have some tickets.”

The teenager, Tristin Budzyn-Baker, received the wad of money inside the wallet and some “extra cash” on the show. He also received $ 10,000 from image publishers Shutterfly.

The Australian actor even wrote a letter of appreciation for Tristin, who is a Boy Scout, to help him achieve Eagle Scout rank.
