Common will foolishly challenge Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2

Common the rapper known for his roles in Selma and Run All Night will play the villain opposite Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2.

Rapper Common is set to challenge the unchallengeable Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2, Lionsgate’s upcoming sequel to its cult action hit from last year.

Oh yes, he’s back: Keanu Reeves as John Wick.

Plot details for the new one are being kept under wraps, but the 43-year-old artist will be the movie’s chief villain,a head of security for a female crime lord, said The Hollywood Reporter.

The first Wick saw Reeves as an ex-hitman, who is forced to dole out some retribution when gangsters break into his home, beat him up and kill his dog.

He re-enters the tangled underworld of assassins he left behind and shows everyone that he is still not to be trifled with.

Common, who appeared in Selma and the Liam Neeson action movie Run All Night, will next be seen in Warner Bros’ high-profile comic book movie, Suicide Squad, with Will Smith and Jared Leto.
