An Elvis biopic titled Growing Up Graceland is in the pipeline, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

BiteSize Entertainment has reportedly taken an option for a film adaptation of the book Conversations With the King: Journals of a Young Apprentice. The memoir, published this spring in the US, provides a day-to-day account of the last 17 years of the rockstar's life, from the point of view of David E. Stanley, who became Elvis Presley's stepbrother in 1960 at the age of four. Elvis quickly became a father figure to him, and they stayed close until Elvis's death in 1977.

The project, which is currently in its preliminary phase, is not the only upcoming production focusing on the King. Film buffs can indeed expect some more Elvis spotting in Cary Elwes's Elvis & Nixon and Elvis: Still Taking Care of Business.
