The first reviews of the hotly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey are in and they reveal that the first sex scene comes in after 40 slow-burning minutes into the film.

According to some early reviews the EL James adaptation includes 11 minutes of erotic sex scenes throughout the entire 2-hour run time of the movie, the Independent reported.

The reviews by The Sun also claims that opening scenes focus more on sensuality and creating atmospheric tension between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele rather than full-on sex, which made some members of the audience restless.

The Sam Taylor-Johnson directed movie has been expected to be a raunchy romp through the world of S&M and sexual deviance.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star in the erotic film which is set for a February 13th release, a day before Valentine's.
