George Clooney: I've crossed the line with Brad Pitt, may be jailed
Hollywood actor George Clooney recently joked that he is afraid that his feud with Brad Pitt might land him in jail.
The Gravity star, who is a good friend of Pitt after working with him in Ocean's Eleven, said in an hilarious interview with Graham Norton that he has played lot of pranks on people with Pitt's name, the Daily Star reported.
When asked about his tradition of tricking Brad Pitt, Clooney said: “I'm not sure how it started but we have done some terrible things to each other. I had some stationery made up with his name on and would then send letters to other actors from Brad Pitt.
The 54-year-old actor asserted that he sent Meryl Streep a letter from Pitt with a whole stack of dialect coach CDs saying that they may help her for her role in the Iron Lady.
"I'm doing one now that I can't tell you about, but in a year you are going to hear I've been arrested – I'm not kidding, because I think I've crossed the line," he told Norton in an interview set to air Friday. "But I have a wife, she's a barrister, I'll be fine!'"
For his new film, Tomorrowland A World Beyond, he said director Brad Bird sent his a script, telling him the role had been "written for him".
"I read the description and it said, ‘50 year old bitter has-been’," said Clooney. "And I thought, ‘You wrote that for me, that’s so nice. Thank you very much!’”
