In the most acclaimed performance by an actress this awards season, Moore gives a heart-rending portrayal of a vibrant and ambitious Columbia University professor diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. The other nominees Sunday were: Jennifer Aniston, Cake; Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything; Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl; and Reese Witherspoon, Wild.
