The Crow reboot is all set to happen and Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa is a strong contender to play a rockstar-turned-undead-avenger Eric Draven. Nearly a dozen Hollywood stars have been attached and then left this new version of The Crow over the last nine years.

These including Jack Huston, Norman Reedus, Luke Evans and Tom Hiddleston. Momoa hinted about becoming Eric Draven on Instagram earlier this week, when he shared a picture of himself and The Crow director Corin Hardy sharing a brew.

“The only way to officially seal the deal as men Is a pint of black beauty. @guinness #sealthedeal #wearemarriednowfucker. #greatnewstocome. #dreamjob #cantwaittotelltheworld,” Momoa teased. Momoa is already playing another superhero - Aquaman in next year’s Justice League and a solo movie.

Development on a Crow reboot dates back to 2008 - when Mark Wahlberg was being eyed to become the Caliber Comic hero. The late Brandon Lee was tragically killed in an on-set accident while shooting the original 1994 Crow movie.
