Jessica lost The Notebook role to Rachel
Hollywood actor Jessica Biel says she had auditioned for the lead female role in the hit romantic movie, The Notebook, but lost it out to Rachel McAdams.

Hollywood actor Jessica Biel says she had auditioned for the lead female role in the hit romantic movie, The Notebook, but lost it out to Rachel McAdams. The 29 year-old beauty, who started acting as a kid and first made a name for herself starring in the ’90s family drama, 7th Heaven, said she is still stuck on the part of Allie in the 2004 film, which was one of McAdams’ first breakout roles, reported Us magazine.
“That’s one that I wanted so badly. I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer. We’re gluttons for punishment. It’s just rejection,” said Biel.
