Eccentric is Johnny Depp’s middle name. And, at the world premiere of the 48-year-old actor’s new film, Dark Shadows, the mood was precisely that. In place of the traditional red carpet, the premiere was held on a black carpet to reflect the gothic theme of the movie. Held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA on Monday, the film is based on the 1960’s gothic soap opera of the same name. Others present at the do were co-stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green.
