Roberts, 47, gushed over Amal in a new interview, reported Ace Showbiz.



When asked if she gave her Money Monster co-star her seal of approval when it came to marrying Amal, the actor said, "Oh yes, George doesn't need my approval, but I'm quite enamoured with her."



"It was amazing. George and I were pinching each other. Like, 'How did we end up with this brainiac girl? It was awesome!" the Ocean's Twelve actor recalled of working with Money Monster co-star, Jodie Foster.

In the interview, the Notting Hill actor was also asked about her 26th and final appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.



"I'm just glad I got out of that building without weeping like a child. We're all gonna miss David. He's a beautiful person and he'll still be a beautiful person, we just won't see him every night," she said.



Clooney, meanwhile, appears to be more in love than ever with his wife, whom he married in Italy in September 2014. "She's an amazing human being and she's caring," he told Entertainment Tonight on May 8. "She also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humor. There's a number of reasons why [I fell in love]."
