Kate Winslet’s daughter is jealous of her mother for getting to do sex scenes opposite The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth in a new period picture.

Oscar-winning actor Kate Winslet’s daughter is jealous of her mother for getting to shoot steamy scenes opposite The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth.

“When I told my daughter that I was shooting the scene that day she spluttered... I took it to be jealousy. But I did feel quite bad for Liam. He’s a sweet guy but I couldn’t stop giggling,” said the 40-year-old actor.

In the upcoming film, set in the 1950s, Hemsworth, 25, plays Winslet’s love interest, and the pair get steamy in several scenes.

The Oscar-winning actor said her daughter has a crush on Hemsworth.

“It’s only because of her that I know the name of the character that Liam plays in The Hunger Games — I wouldn’t have a clue otherwise!,” she said.

“And it’s rather alarming that she is actually closer in age to Liam than I am… she only pointed that out to me the other day, and I was like, ‘Oh shhh!’”
