Actor and model Katie Holmes is set to join Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds in Jewish refugee drama Woman In Gold which also stars Daniel Bruhl and Antje Traue and is directed by Simon Curtis.

The film's story is set in 1998 and follows a holocaust survivor, Maria Altmann who solicits the help of her newly minted lawyer grandson to help her sue the Swiss government to get back priceless artwork stolen by the Nazis. Her character spends four decades battling Austrian officials for the safe return of art stolen from her family by the Nazis during World War II.
Reynolds will portray Altmann's young lawyer Randy Schoenberg, and now Holmes has been added to the line-up as his wife, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Holmes will be seen in The Giver, next. She previously starred with Mirren in Teaching Mrs Tingle.
