Kevin Costner in talks to join Guillermo del Toro production

Currently billed in Man of Steel as Superman's adoptive, Earth father, Kevin Costner is to play another caring father in the thriller, Midnight Delivery. This project is about a man who agrees to serve as a mule carrying cocaine on a midnight flight to London for a Colombian drug cartel in a desperate effort to save his estranged daughter.
Guillermo del Toro, whose specialties are dark fantasy and mainstream action and whose, Pacific Rim, is currently in theaters, will confine his involvement to producing this thriller, although it's based on his own original idea. A director has yet to be confirmed for this script by Neil Cross.
Before Kevin Costner has time to shoot Midnight Delivery, he'll be busy making the independent drama, Black and White, following by the sports movie, McFarland.
