Rocker Pete Doherty is seen enjoying a passionate kiss in the trailer of his acting debut Confession of A Child of The Century.
However, the 33-year-old British rocker's performance was panned at the ongoing 65th Canne International Film Festival earlier this week.
The trailer has Doherty mix up several sex scenes in the role of a libertine, who falls into depression after his mistress (Lily Cole) betrays him.
Critics have called his appearance a "calamitous miscasting" mixed with "mumbled lines" and a "permanently bored expression", reports thesun.co.uk.
The Britain release date of the film is yet to be decided.
