Actor Sigourney Weaver talks about the sequels of Aliens and Ghostbusters.
Her leading roles in Alien, Ghostbusters and Avatar have made Sigourney Weaver, 61, a household name with fans for more than 30 years. Fondly called the queen of sci-fi movies, she now reveals that a fourth Alien movie and a Ghostbusters 3 is in the offing.
“Now they’re doing an Alien prequel. And I think that Ridley Scott is directing it,” she recently told Anna Coren on CNN International’s Talk Asia, denying her presence in the same.
Ask her about a third Ghostbusters outing and she says, “I’ve heard about Ghostbusters 3. I think all of us would love to get back together again. There’s still an appetite for Ghostbusters.”
The six feet actor also reveals that her height has perennially been an issue with shorter male cast members. “There’re actors who are insecure," she says.
