American popstar Katy Perry’s Twitter account was hacked on Monday evening, first tweet was to alleged rival Taylor Swift.

Pop singer Katy Perry’s 89 million followers were surprised to see their favourite singer sending out a ‘Miss you baby’ message to her alleged rival Taylor Swift.

However, as it turned out, the popstar’s account was hacked on Monday evening and along with the tweet for Swift, several other tweets including homophobic comments were tweeted from her handle.

Perry is not the first celebrity whose twitter account was hacked. Other high-profiles that have been hacked include Justin Bieber, Lea Michele, and Britney Spears among others.
