Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem also star in Ridley Scott's much anticipated thriller, based on an original script by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy.
In less than one minute, the trailer reveals a very tense plot in the spirit of No Country for Old Men by the Coen Brothers, based on a book by McCarthy. Michael Fassbender will play a lawyer threatened after getting involved with the wrong crowd.
Brad Pitt and an unkempt Javier Bardem will play face to face with the British actor, while Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz will play a femme fatale duo.
The Counselor is due out on October 25.
