The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has smashed the record for Steven Spielberg’s biggest Indian opening as director, as well as the highest opening animated film in India.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has smashed the record for Steven Spielberg’s biggest Indian opening as director, as well as the highest opening animated film in India.
The film garnered approximately Rs. 7.35 crore at the three day box office with a 90-100 per cent occupancy in most centres. It released in India with over 350 prints - a record-breaking number for an animated film.

It is also the first animated film to have made inroads into smaller centres.
