Watch Ryan Reynolds make a masturbation joke at a teenager in this Deadpool 2 deleted scene

There could be any number of reasons why this Deadpool 2 scene was deleted - pacing, length, importance to the plot, or even the off-colour masturbation joke he makes towards Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Ahead of the home video release of Deadpool 2, Fox has released a new deleted scene from the film. The two-minute clip is set in the X-Mansion, perhaps around the time that Wade Wilson is enlisted as a member of the X-Men (on trial basis).

In the video, Wade (played by Ryan Reynolds), is coming up with a diet plan for each of the X-Men - minus the main ones, who made a cameo in the film. The deleted scene probably arrives around the time when Deadpool is taken on his first mission with the X-Men. It is during this mission that he meets Russell, the teenage mutant who serves as an antagonist in the film.

There could be any number of reasons why this scene was deleted - pacing, length, importance to the plot, or even the off-colour masturbation joke he makes towards Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who is, as her name suggests, a teenager. Or it could be because it ends with a moment in which it is implied that Colossus drinks Wade’s bodily fluids.

Deadpool 2 was a box office success, and earned $730 million worldwide, enough to make it the third highest grossing R-rated film of all time, behind the first Deadpool’s $780 million. The film received good reviews, with Reynolds’ central performance and David Leitch’s direction being appreciated.

The future of the Deadpool series, and the X-Men franchise as a whole, is up in the air following Disney’s acquisition of Fox and its properties, with the intention of combining it with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Disney chief Bob Iger has said that they could find a way to make R-rated films in the future, both X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants have suffered long delays.

Reynolds previously said that a third Deadpool film would most likely be an X-Force movie, but no release date has been set so far.
