Woman says Frozen based on her life story, sues Disney for $250 m

An author has sued Oscar-winning animated musical film Frozen for $250 million, claiming that the movie's story is based on her autobiography.

Tanikumi says Disney plagiarised and copied the story, characters, and plots from her book.

Frozen tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer and a snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in an eternal winter.
