Nushrratt Bharuccha clarifies viral Instagram story, says a puppy was making the sounds: Calm your wild thoughts down

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has dispelled rumors surrounding the strange sounds in her recent Instagram story.

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha's recent Instagram story went viral in no time, and for all the wrong reasons. And now, she has clarified it.

The story in question was a clip from the IPL 2026 finals, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the winning cup. Some people on social media claimed they could hear strange sounds, leaving everyone puzzled as the word spread. The murmurs grew. Nushrratt also refused to address the paps as she was spotted on Wednesday. She has now taken to her Instagram stories and shared multiple clarifications, including a video of the room where she was allegedly watching the match that day.

Attributing the sounds to a dog, she wrote, “This is the house where I was watching the match. This is the puppy. This is a video from that very night a while later. Fearing exactly what has happened, I was advised to delete that video and I did. People, calm your wild thoughts down! Owning a mobile phone doesn't empower harrassment. Do not misinterpret or follow blindly. Think and act responsibly!”

In another Insta story, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor clarified that an earlier screenshot doing the rounds as her ‘clarification’, was fake.

On the professional front, Nusshrat will be seen next in Ghooskhor Pandut (title to be changed) with Manoj Bajpayee, and Bun Tikki.
