Brunches on the platter

Chef Avinash Kumar has prepared a Sunday brunch at Quane Cafe in The Ramada Hotel. “A range of sweet delicacies is the highlight of our Easter brunch. Our bakery chefs are crafting a choice of desserts that kids will love to savour. The brunch will feature an elaborate menu at a special price of ₹1,499.”

Ashish Dayal, Director of Food and Beverage at The Centrum, has also curated a special buffet. “Our brunch highlights include freshly baked hot cross buns with spiced butter, Easter egg bread rolls and brioche, a pancake and waffle counter with maple syrup, berry compote, and chocolate, a pasta station, and crepes with Nutella and berries.”

Fairfield by Marriott, General Manager, Rohit Pandey Lucknow, shares, “We go beyond a traditional brunch by curating immersive celebrations—featuring indulgent Easter buffets, engaging kids’ activities, live music, and unique cultural collaborations like Chikankari showcases. Businessman Ashish Prasad says, “Youngsters love exploring these amazing brunches and the Easter eggs available in bakeries. Traditionally, however, it’s more about having lunch with family and extended members. Every home has a specialty; for us, it’s a home-cooked meat roast with potatoes served in yakhni (broth) and yakhni pulao.”

He explains, “This day marks when Jesus Christ rose to a new life, and Easter eggs signify that new start. It’s all about starting afresh and leaving the past behind. Attending church, meditation, and prayer are the traditions we follow.”

Danbro by Mr. Brown has prepared various dessert options focusing on children and young adults. Similarly, artisanal bakery Buttercup Bungalow’s menu features glossy chocolate egg entremets, playful bunny-shaped creations, rich chocolate cupcakes, delicate macarons, and soft brioche bunnies.

At mall too there are celebrations. “At our atrium area we have Easter celebrations underway which includes activities like Dress the Bunny, Texture of Canvas, Bunny Jar Decoration, Bunny Bag Painting and Jewellery designing.
