Abu Dhabi offers free UAE entry visa plan for Indians
Planning an Abu Dhabi holiday? Eligible Indian travellers can get their UAE entry visa fee waived under a new programme until October 31.
Indian travellers planning a holiday to Abu Dhabi can now get their UAE entry visa fee waived under a new tourism initiative launched by the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), Abu Dhabi. The programme will cover visa costs for eligible Indian passport holders during its pilot period.
Running from August 1 to October 31, the initiative will initially cover visa costs for up to 20,000 travellers. However, tourists cannot apply for the free visa on their own and must book through a participating travel partner or online travel agencies. HTC
Who can get the free UAE visa?
The offer is available to Indian passport holders travelling from India who book an Abu Dhabi holiday through a participating travel partner. The booking must include:
- A minimum of three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel
- A return flight from India
- Booking through a participating travel partner or online travel agency
Travel partners can process the visas through a DCT–appointed destination management company, with DCT Abu Dhabi covering the visa cost. They can also work with their existing DMC partners, in which case the DCT will reimburse Dh285 (approx ₹7,400) for each visa issued.
