Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: After the polling across the state came to an end, Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot said he is 'ready to accept the people's mandate'.

"First, we need to win the elections and I have always accepted people's mandate and am still doing so. After the results on December 3, if we cross the majority mark, then the Congress MLAs and leadership will decide on individual responsibilities," Pilot was quoted as saying by PTI.

The lowest polling was recorded in Pali (60.71%), Sirohi (63.62%), Jalore (64.10%), Jodhpur (64.32%), and Udaipur (64.98%).

Constituency wise- Highest in Alwar's Tijara with 80.85%, the lowest was seen in Pali's Sumerpur with 57.81%.

Regarding the stone pelting, Fathepur DSP Ramprasad said, "There has been stone pelting among some people after a verbal clash. Some people have been disbursed, and some people have been detained. We will take strict action. The polling is underway but this place (of clashes) is away from the polling booth. There is no hindrance to voting... Those who have not cast their vote yet should go and vote. Security would be provided for everyone."

The voting is scheduled to take place till 6 pm today.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra arrived at a polling station at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Jaipur district to cast his vote for the Rajasthan Assembly elections on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, the Governor mentioned that both he and his wife had exercised their voting rights. He urged the citizens of the state to engage actively in the voting process.

"I appeal to everyone to take part in voting peacefully," said Kalraj Mishra.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: Former Congress MP Manvendra Singh, accompanied by his wife Chitra Singh, reached a polling station in Mewa Nagar within the Barmer district to cast his vote on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.

The son of the late BJP leader Jaswant Singh, Manvendra Singh's father held significant positions in the NDA Cabinet and served as a member of both Houses of Parliament throughout his life.

In the ongoing Rajasthan assembly elections, Manvendra Singh stands as a Congress candidate in the Siwana Assembly constituency. Opposing him, the BJP has nominated Hameer Singh Bhayal for the Siwana seat.

“I don't think that any person, particularly if he/she is in the political sphere should use such a language. New voters are watching what their leaders are doing,” Raje was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

"I would say that it's a festival of democracy, and people should actively participate in it. One should exercise one's right to vote freely and fearlessly... There's tight security... Our officers and flying squad are keeping their eyes," he told ANI.

The BJP has submitted a complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding a tweet from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today. The party urges the Commission to instruct the social media platform "X" to promptly suspend his account and expeditiously remove the aforementioned objectionable content. Additionally, the BJP calls upon the Commission to direct the Chief Election Officer of Rajasthan to file a criminal complaint and initiate legal proceedings against Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier today, a disturbance ensued at a polling booth in Churu as voting commenced. A polling agent claims that he was assaulted by a group of 4-5 individuals, resulting in minor injuries.

Rajasthan's voter turnout till 11 am was 24.74 per cent. It was the highest in Dholpur (30.25%), Hanumangarh (2916%), Baran (28.91%), and Ganganagar (28.22%). Whereas, the lowest turnout was in in Udaipur (21.07%), Rajsamand (21.98%), Jodhpur (22.58%), and Dungarpur (22.82%).
