Assocham congratulates PM Modi on BJP’s win in Gujarat, Himachal elections

Assocham president says Gujarat has been at the forefront of the economic development which has, in fact, resulted in enhanced level of aspirations of the people of the state.

Assocham on Monday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on BJP’s victory and expressed faith that the governments of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh would focus on agriculture, trade and industry.

“We are confident that the new BJP government in the states would work for the all round development of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh with a special focus on agriculture, trade and industry, particularly in the medium, small and medium enterprise (MSME) segment,” said Assocham president Sandeep Jajodia.

He said Gujarat has been at the forefront of the economic development which has, in fact, resulted in enhanced level of aspirations of the people of the state.

“India Inc. would be extending its full support to the new chief minister in pursuing policies that would lead to more employment, more industrial development and vibrancy in the service sector,” said Jajodia.
