Dist admin to hold Lucknow Investors’ Summit today, dy CM invited as chief guest

LUCKNOW In the run-up to the Global Investors’ Summit, which is aimed at drawing investment into Uttar Pradesh, the Lucknow district administration and the Lucknow Chapter of the Indian Industries Association (IIA) will organise a one-day Lucknow Investors’ Summit, where investors would be urged to invest in the state capital. Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak will be the chief guest of the event, which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Tuesday.
Addressing media persons on Monday, district magistrate Suryapal Gangwar said, “The Global Investors’ Summit is to be organised in the state from February 10 to February 12 and on the same lines, we are organising the Lucknow Investors’ Conference for local investors in Lucknow on Tuesday (January 10).”
During the event, prospective investors will be given all necessary information. “There will be four sessions during the summit for which different nodal officers have been nominated. These nodal officers will give detailed information to the investors about all the industrial policies of the government,” added the CM.
Also, investors will be told about subsidies and the procedures to be adopted from the beginning for setting up an industry here. The DM will also present the industrial promotion and MSME Policy-2022, Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022, Textiles Policy 2022, and Pharmaceuticals Policy 2018 at the event.
Other policies to be presented during the event include -- Uttar Pradesh Start-up Policy 2022, Uttar Pradesh Food Processing Policy 2017, Uttar Pradesh Dairy Farm Development and Dairy Product Promotion Policy 2022, Uttar Pradesh Bio Energy Policy 2022, Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Export Policy 2022, and Uttar Pradesh Poultry Development Policy 2022.
Besides, LDA VC Indramani Tripathi will present Uttar Pradesh Tourism Policy 2022, Uttar Pradesh Warehousing, and Logistics Policy 2018 during the event.
