At least four persons were injured when militants lobbed a grenade at a police camp in Shopian district of Kashmir on Wednesday evening, police said.

The grenade was hurled around 7.30pm at the camp of the special operations group (SOG) of police at Imam Sahib in Shopian but the explosive missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, a police official said.
“Four civilians were injured in the attack, but are out of danger. Also, there is no police casualty,” said a police officer.
A civilian, Ishfaq Rashid, who was injured in the attack, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
