HC lists Priyanka’s land deal matter for July 28
The Himachal Pradesh high court on Friday listed the land deal matter of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for July 28.
The Himachal Pradesh high court on Friday listed the land deal matter of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for July 28. Earlier, Vadra had filed a reply to the notice issued by the court. The respondent has filed a rejoinder to it.

In July last year, the HC had stayed the state information commission’s order to divulge information regarding the purchase of land by Vadra at Chharabra near Shimla.
The court, in its notice, had directed her to file a reply to the application moved by one of the respondents, saying that he had also sought information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act on the file noting of house allotment to Sonia Gandhi, AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra in New Delhi.
The respondent contended that while the authorities in Delhi divulged the information about the house allotment to them under the RTI Act, why the Shimla administration was not providing the same.
