INX media case: Karti Chidambaram moves Delhi HC for interim relief
Karti Chidambaram approached the high court after the Supreme Court refused to grant him interim relief from Enforcement Directorate (ED) action against him.
Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidambaram, approached the Delhi high court on Thursday, seeking relief in the INX media money laundering case at the direction of the Supreme Court, which also allowed him to withdraw his petition questioning the Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe against him.

A bench led by Chief Justice Dipak Misra asked the acting chief justice of the high court to allocate Karti’s case to an appropriate bench so that it can be heard on Friday. The direction was issued despite the ED putting up a strong objection .
The Central Bureau of Investigation and the ED are investigating various aspects of a case related to Karti Chidambaram allegedly facilitating INX Media to bypass foreign investment rules when his father was finance minister.
The Chidambarams claim this is political vendetta.
