Lok Sabha elections 2019: NCP’s Sanjay Dina Patil gets Maratha youth outfit support
According to members of the Maratha Yuva Kranti, Patil was forthcoming during the Maratha reservation agitations in the city.
A Maratha youth outfit from Mumbai North East has declared their support to Sanjay Dina Patil, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

According to members of the Maratha Yuva Kranti, Patil was forthcoming during the Maratha reservation agitations in the city.
Sampatrao Suryavanshi, a resident of Ghatkopar and co-ordinator for the group, said, “No MP or MLA has offered us any help, except Patil.”
The Maratha community support will play a crucial role in the elections as the constituency has 7.02 lakh Maharashtrian voters. BJP-Sena’s Manoj Kotak and Patil have been trying to woo the Marathi voters.
Nitin Deshmukh, another member said, “We have not had any interactions with Kotak. We are supporting Patil as an individual, not for any party.”
Maratha Yuva Kranti is an organisation of youths formed in the wake of the strong Maratha movement across Maharashtra since 2016.
The dominant and influential community has been demanding quota in education and jobs.
