The Sonepat police will seek permission of judicial magistrate on Tuesday to conduct a polygraph test of the two school employees, who were accused by of gangraping a girl student in anonymous letters sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the local police.
The student of Om Public School in Gohana had written in her letter that school clerk Sukhbir and accountant Karambir sexually assaulted her on several occasions and gangraped her in a local hotel. She has not come forward as of now to register her statement in front of magistrate.

The two accused have been booked for rape and detained by police, who will seek the court’s permission for their polygraph test. “We have not got any clue on the complainant so far. Since this is a serious matter, we don’t want to leave any lapses in investigation. The polygraph test will help us in knowing the truth. If the court allows, we may go ahead with the test on Tuesday only,” Gohana SHO Kuldeep Singh told HT.
He said the police are trying to locate the origin of the anonymous letter, which they had received through a local media office. He said school students were on Monday given counselling by experts to come forward if they know any details in the case.
