12 booked for demolishing public toilet

POLICE HAS booked two identified and ten unidentified persons have been booked for demolishing a public toilet in Vinay Nagar on August 5.

According to the Annapurna police Sunil Balkrishna of Kesar Bagh Road registered a complaint against Ajju Ajmera of Moon Palace Colony, Rajendra Sethi of Ramchandra Nagar, four unidentified persons from the Vinay Nagar Rehwasi Sangh associated with plot numbers 1,2,3 and 4 in that colony, two motorcycle borne unidentified persons and four unidentified persons manning a JCB machine without a number plate.

The accused conspired to demolish a government-erected utility in the form of a public toilet used by the people from nearby areas and passerby’s.

The complainant stated that he had been issued life threats over phone terrorizing him into not approaching the police. A case has been registered against the accused under Sections 3/5 Property Act for destroying public property and Sections 270, 428, 432, 506 and 508 of the IPC.
