13 wounded as terrorists hurl grenades in J&K

Grenades exploded in two parts of the bus stand resulting in injury to 13 persons, most of them passengers.

At least 13 persons were wounded, two of them critically, when terrorists hurled grenades from a roof-top in the bus stand area in Surankot town of Poonch district on Wednesday evening, police said.

The grenades exploded in two parts of the bus stand resulting in injury to 13 persons, most of them passengers, they said.

Among those injured, the condition of two persons was stated to be serious. Security forces and police have cordoned of the bus stand area and launched an operation to track down the terrorists responsible for the attack.

No terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility of the attack.
