15 dead, 35 hurt in Egyptian train accident

The death toll is likely to rise as rescue operations continue on the site of mishap, security officials say.

At least 15 people were killed and 35 injured when a passenger train collided with a freight train about 25 km north of Cairo, an Egyptian security official said.
