15 die as roof caves in UP ashram

At least 15 people were feared killed and an equal number injured this afternoon when the roof of an ashram caved in at Bharnakhurd village near Parsana police station, about 50 kms from Mathura.

At least 15 people were feared killed and an equal number injured this afternoon when the roof of an ashram caved in at Bharnakhurd village near Parsana police station, about 50 kms from Mathura.

The accident occurred when the roof under which sadhus were taking 'bhandara' (prasadam) caved in. District Magistrate Anita C Meshram has rushed to the site along with senior police and medical teams. Details are awaited.
