As many as 154 polling parties were dispatched to respective polling stations in Doda district on Sunday for the first phase of the assembly elections scheduled for Tuesday. These included 85 polling parties for Bhaderwah assembly constituency and 69 for Doda segment.

There are 291 polling stations in Doda district, including 152 in Bhaderwah and 139 in Doda assembly constituency. The remaining 70 polling parties of Doda assembly constituency and 67 of Bhaderwah will be dispatched on Monday from tehsil office Doda and Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Bhaderwah, respectively.
The polling parties for Doda constituency were dispatched under the supervision of returning officer SC Dogra while at Bhaderwah, the polling parties were dispatched under the supervision of returning officer Bhupinder Kumar. Adequate security personnel from Jammu and Kashmir Police and central paramilitary forces were deployed along with the polling parties.
