Such monopolistic activities are not allowed as per the HC directives.
The officials have invited complaints from the parents on a stamp paper of Rs 10 in a sealed envelop between April 20 and April 22. The inspection will be carried out on the directives of the High Court and if there is any specific complaint, the committee will apprise the court of it accordingly.
The 16 schools that have been brought under scanner includes Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School, SPS Academy, Bal Vidya Mandir, Baby Martin Senior Secondary School, Aliganj Montessori, Red Rose School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan Public School, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, DAV Public School, Indira Nagar, Model Academy, Indira Nagar, Little Angel High School and in all the five branches of Rani Laxmibai Schools.
Sudhir Kumar, assistant DIOS Anglo Indian Schools and Mansaram, assistant DIOS will carry out the inspection work of the schools. While Kumar will inspect the top eight schools in the list while the remaining eight schools will be inspected by Mansaram. However, DIOS officials ruled out the possibility of inspection of other schools of the state as HC directives has come in the wake of a complaint against CBSE schools of the city.
