Two pilgrims were killed, and over six injured in an alleged stampede at Radha Rani temple in Barsana on Sunday morning.

The district administration, however, denied that a stampede had taken place, and said the two women had died of heart attack and suffocation. "It was not a stampede. In fact, both died of heart attack when they reached the temple after climbing 100 fleets of stairs," AK Rai, SP (Rural) said.
