20 dead as speeding truck runs over sleeping pilgrims
At least 20 persons were killed when a speeding truck ran over them on Dolka-Bagodra highway early today, a TV news channel reported. The incident took place near Bejwa crossroad on the highway where a number of people on their way to pilgrimage were sleeping on the roadside.

At least 20 persons were killed when a speeding truck ran over them on Dolka-Bagodra highway on Thursday, a news channel reported. The incident took place near Bejwa crossroad on the highway where a number of people on their way to pilgrimage were sleeping on the roadside, a TV report said.
Twenty people have died on the spot while some others were injured, police said, adding the injured were admitted to the V S Hospital in Ahmedabad.
