200 taken ill after consuming pudding
Lucknow, Nov 20 (PTI) About 200 people, including women and children, were taken ill after consuming 'kheer' (milk pudding) at a marriage function in Khadra locality, near here.

About 200 people, including women and children, were taken ill after consuming 'kheer' (milk pudding) at a marriage function in Khadra locality, near Lucknow.
People complained of stomach pain and vomitting soon after consuming the pudding last evening and were rush to various hospitals in the city, police said on Monday.
Many of them were discharged later.
The pudding was prepared on Saturday night for the function and the left over was distributed yesterday among the people of locality, they said.
An inquiry is being conducted by the the district health officer into the issue.
