23 injured in bus mishap

Twenty-three passengers were injured after a J&K road transport corporation bus overturned on the national highway near Shahbad in Kurukshetra district on Sunday. HT reports.
Twenty-three passengers were injured after a J&K road transport corporation bus overturned on the national highway near Shahbad in Kurukshetra district on Sunday.
The accident took place when the bus, carrying 39 passengers, skidded off the national highway and overturned. It was coming from Srinagar to Delhi.

The passengers also included pilgrims, who were returning from the Amarnath yatra.
Shahbad police station SHO Rajesh Kumar said no case had been registered. Two passengers, who sustained serious injuries, were admitted to the PGI in Chandigarh. The other injured were admitted to different hospitals. Some have been discharged.
