At least 27 personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were injured on Sunday when the bus they were travelling in overturned near Central Park Plaza, a few metres away from the Mahamaya Flyover.

The bus, which was coming from Greater Noida, was going to Delhi when the mishap took place. According to the police, the bus overturned after the driver lost control over it.
The injured were rushed to Kailash Hospital, where condition of three men was stated to be serious. The vehicle was also damaged in the accident.
“At emergency ward, 27 injured ITBP men were brought. 17 injured were discharged after getting first aid. Six injured including Jitender Singh, 41, Rajinder Singh, 39, and Suresh Kumar Yadav, 45, are still in the intensive care unit. Four injured jawans have been shifted to the emergency ward in the afternoon,” VB Joshi, spokesperson, Kailash Hospital.
