3 of Chhota Rajan gang held in Mumbai

The gangsters, linked to Chhota Rajan gang were planning to eliminate some city-based businessmen.

Three gangsters linked to the Chhota Rajan gang who were planning to eliminate some city-based businessmen were arrested, a police official said on Friday.

The three were arrested in the DN Nagar area of suburban Andheri lateThursday night, Inspector Pradip Sharma of DN Nagar Police Stationsaid in Mumbai.

All of them hail from Mumbai itself and have been identified as Girish Shah, Umed Khan and Rao, he said adding that an imported revolver was also recovered from their possession.

"We got leads that the three were planning to kill three city based businessmen during the interrogation of four hitmen hired by the Chhota Rajan gang who were arrested on Saturday," Sharma added.
