3 officials held on graft charge

The Haryana state vigilance bureau has arrested three officials on a charge of accepting bribe. A spokesperson for the bureau said Hitesh Kumar, a clerk in the office of district town planner, Rohtak, was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 from Sumesh Kumar, a resident of Rohtak, in lieu of issuing a no objection certificate (NOC) for a plot.

A spokesperson for the bureau said Hitesh Kumar, a clerk in the office of district town planner, Rohtak, was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 from Sumesh Kumar, a resident of Rohtak, in lieu of issuing a no objection certificate (NOC) for a plot.

Munshi Ram, inspector, district home guard office, Kaithal, was arrested while accepting Rs 3,000 from Sandeep, a resident of Kaithal, in lieu of issuing a home guard certificate.

Om Parkash, patwari, Sirsa, was caught on a charge of accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from Darshan Singh, a resident of Singhpura in Sirsa, in lieu of registering the 'intqual' of his agriculture land.
