35 injured in road mishap

35 persons were injured in a road mishap when a state transport overturned after it collided with a speeding truck

Atleast 35 persons were injured in a road mishap near Nagar Pathardi road, police said on 1st october.

The mishap took place last evening when a state transport overturned after it collided with a speeding truck, they said.

The injured include 16 women, who have been admitted to the nearby hospital, police said adding search is on to nab the truck driver, who fled the spot after the incident.

The bus met with the accident while the truck driver was trying to take a short cut to evade the tax at the octroi post in the area, police said.
