35 kg poppy seized on J&K highway, smuggler arrested
Police on Saturday arrested a smuggler and recovered 35 kg poppy from him on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of J&K.

Police on Saturday arrested a smuggler and recovered 35 kg poppy from him on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of J&K.
"During a checking on the highway, one truck was intercepted at Batote area in Ramban District and 35 Kg of Poppy was recovered," police said.
A case has been registered against accused Sajad Ahmed, who belongs to Chadoora area in Budgam district of the state, he said.
