36 Uttarakhand pilgrims injured in accident in Bihar

Altogether 36 pilgrims have been injured, when a bus carrying them overturned and fell into a roadside river near Bhabhua in Bihar's Kaimur district.

Altogether 36 pilgrims were injured, when a bus carrying them overturned and fell into a roadside river near Bhabhua in Bihar's Kaimur district on Sunday, police said.

The accident occurred when the bus carrying 58 pilgrims was going to Deoghar in Jharkhand from Haridwar in Uttrakhand to offer prayers at the famous Lord Shiva temple.

The bus overturned and fell into the Bhabhua-Suara river as the driver lost control over it the sources said, adding 36 of passengers suffered injuries.

Of the injured, the condition of five was serious.

The injured were admitted to a government hospital Bhabhua.
