District Collector C Kamaraj distributed the laptops to the students.

An official press release on tuesday said the state government distributes free laptops all over the state every year to students who choose Tamil as the first language and score highest marks in 10th standard.

This year 39 students from various schools in Madurai were selected and laptops distributed to them at the District Collectorate here last evening, it said.
